Customer Reviews

Joe's Rusty Nail knows how to do breakfast right! We stopped by last Saturday, and the food was fantastic, but the real star of the show was Bonnie. She was on top of everything, keeping our drinks full, checking in at just the right moments, and making us feel truly welcome. Service like that is rare! I had a little bit of everything breakfast wise, and it was all phenomenal, hearty portions, great prices, and full of flavor. Plus, we even got to sit in Mr. McFeely's legendary seat! I do have to go back and try the Reuben because I saw a number of people eating it and it looked really good. Some diners are slipping, but not Joe's Rusty Nail! If you want great food and even better service, go see Bonnie, you won't regret it!

This small local restaurant is a hidden gem. It's a place to meet friends, enjoy a great meal, and the servers and Cook and owner all know you. You can get breakfast anytime of the day, they now have delicious, gluten-free options, and you'll always run into someone you know. Joe, the owner, supports the community in many ways. If you're looking to step back in time and have a delicious meal and a visit with friends stop by the Rusty Nail on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I just ate at Joe's Rusty Nail. When he had his catering business, they catered our twin daughters Christening some 20 years ago. Everyone raved over the food then. We have been to the restaurant in Bellevue a few times since. Incredible food, service and nice cozy place. Prices are beyond reasonable. Decided to go there today as we do not live super close. Breakfast was amazing. I asked if Joe was there. He was back cooking. Waitress let me go say hello. He remembered catering my kids event way back. Told him everything is amazing. Hard worker. We highly recommend stopping there. You won't be dissatisfied in any way.

Our first time and it was nice my 12 year old has always been a picky eater so chicken nuggets Mac and cheese and french fries is always his go to but he didn't see any Mac and cheese or chicken nuggets on the menu so he picked a bacon cheeseburger and he had his very first hamburger! And liked it! Hopefully he will continue to try new things!!

We lived in Ross Twp for 23 years and always loved the Rusty Nail. We recently moved back to Pittsburgh after living in Florida for 10 years and Rusty Nail was at the top of our list for a return visit. We went in for lunch on Friday and were thrilled to see the familiar faces of the waitresses and enjoyed a delicious lunch just as it was before we left. Really can't say enough good things about the food, the staff and the friendly atmosphere. It truly was like coming home! We live a little further away now but we will be back to being regulars for sure!
